By combining our understanding of the sk:n business, and our in-depth knowledge of the consumer healthcare environment, along with the expertise around the intricacies of a multi-site operation and clearly articulating the growth opportunities for sk:n, we were able to secure a fantastic result for our client. In TriSpan, we found a buyer that really understands the growth potential and opportunities including digital systems overhaul, UK clinic network expansion through greenfield roll-out and single site brownfield acquisitions, multi-site corporate acquisitions, international roll-out, treatment menu extension, and revamping of the skincare product strategy.
sk:n is the UK’s leading non-surgical dermatological treatment provider with an extensive clinic base across the UK. Led by CEO Darren Grassby, sk:n is now poised to take advantage of the opportunity of working with a new private equity funder that intends to significantly increase its UK footprint whilst exploring international clinic expansion. TriSpan immediately recognised the latent opportunity around increased skincare product distribution through its clinics and online, and they will bring additional, complementary expertise to the existing high-quality management team.
