Alex is a Vice President and has ten years’ experience in corporate finance.

He works alongside our Partners and Directors to deliver all types of deals including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raisings and strategic reviews, acting for private business owners, management teams, corporates and private equity.​

Alex is also a member of our TMT sector team. Recent deals include advising the founders of premium chocolate brand Montezuma’s on its sale to Inverleith, the refinancing of Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), advising KKR on its £325m acquisition of Travelopia and advising Rutland Partners on its acquisition of Armitage Pet Care.

A graduate of Durham University, Alex began his corporate finance career at Deloitte in 2008, spending over five years advising clients on a variety of mid-market M&A transactions. He joined Alantra from the UK corporate finance team at Deutsche Bank, where he spent three years advising a selection of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies as corporate broker, notably helping to take McCarthy & Stone PLC public in 2015.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys travelling the world, playing sports and following his beloved Aston Villa.
