Steve is a Partner at Alantra and has worked at both private equity funds and corporate advisory firms over a 20 year career.

He focuses on our financial sponsors (private equity) activity and regularly advises business owners, management teams and private equity funds on management buy-outs and growth capital investments.

Recent transactions include advising Chevron Traffic Management on its sale to Triton; advising Rutland Partners on its acquisition of Armitage Pet Care; the investments in SLR Consulting and Global Freight Solutions; the growth capital investments in Addison Lee and CitySprint; the tertiary buy-out of NES Global Talent and 4Ways Healthcare; and the sales of International Dance SuppliesZipUK Heating Group, Thompson & Morgan, Gardman, ARX Group and Interfloor.

A graduate of Nottingham University, Steve trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) moving into their corporate finance team before becoming an Investment Director in a mid-market private equity firm.

Steve has a passion for Rugby Union, being a debenture holder at Twickenham and a father to two rugby playing sons. His wife accepts this with good grace. She is less sanguine about Steve being a Leeds United supporter.
